Wright Autonomous Stander ZK Upgrade 2023

Overview
An upgrade campaign began in March 2023 to bring the entire fleet of 61" (P4A) and 72" (P5) Wright Autonomous Stander ZK machines up to date with the latest in hardware development. Depending on when a specific machine was built, it is in need of different upgrades. Below are some of the subsystems that you may be receiving parts for. When you complete your repairs please contact Greenzie via our support line 470-719-1773 so we can appropriately configure software and validate the repairs.

Encoders - The design for the wheel speed sensor underwent a major design change to improve reliability, and longevity.

Standalone Upgrade Duration: 1-2 hrs

Greenzie Module Box - Only applicable to 72" models. This subsystem includes a variety of upgraded hardware.  An improved Greenzie hardware interface has upgraded circuitry for better thermal protection, more reliable encoder signals, and a new onboard SRC charger with a lower low voltage battery cutoff (10.6V turn-off / 11.1V turn-on).  A new charging cable is req’d and included in the kit. Also included is a more ruggedized Greenzie USB Hub to prevent hardware disconnections.

Note: If you are doing this upgrade as well as the Luxonis AI Camera upgrade, do all of the disassembly at the same time as you will have to repeat work if you treat them as separate repairs.

Luxonis AI Camera -
The Luxonis AI camera is a camera used for image segmentation and object detection. Some mowers were fitted with auto-focus models and some were fitted with fixed-focus cameras. Through use it was found that the fixed focus models resulted in more accurate and consistent obstacle detection. This kit contains the components req’d to update to a fixed focus camera. Additionally there was an update to our weatherproofing of the computer box. During this upgrade, if your mower has two individual entry points for cables into the computer box, you will switch to using the one large entry point included in this kit. If you are working on a 72" model, please see note above regarding Greenzie Module Box upgrade.

Hydrogear Bluetooth Module - This module is used by technicians to troubleshoot and recalibrate all Hydrogear components through a bluetooth enabled phone app. This module is included on all new production builds.

CANBus DB9 Adapter Replacement-
This adapter is used to connect the computer to the CANBus system. This replacement part has washers pre-installed to remove play within the mechanical connection and imporve mower reliability.

RJ45 Strain Relief Bracket Installation-
This bracket serves to provide strain relief for the two RJ45 cables secured at the computer. These cables are for the ethernet modem and the Luxonis Depth AI camera. These RJ45 cables were found to suffer disconnections due to the extreme vibrations experienced during mowing. A strain relief bracket resolves these disconnection issues and allows activation of the Luxonis camera.

Visor Installation-
These visors will cover all the Intel RealSense depth cameras, and on 72” models it will also cover the Luxonis Depth AI camera. Visors will help alleviate false obstacle detection in two ways.
High angle sunglare will be reduced and rain drop accumulation on lenses will be mitigated.
